I’m really liking the mixture of colours its a huge change from the group shots i took of the work last year. I think I’m still developing but the work I’ve produced recently is a huge step up for what i presented at my graduate show so it’s a good sign to keep going with it!

Finished the Bulmers, It’s been good doing a bottle again the ketchup incident was not repeated and it was fairly straight forward this time

I’ve been doing sweets a lot lately so I’m having a go at doing some more bottles,cans and tins this week like this Bulmers cider which I’ve had in my to-do box since I finished uni
Finished this one i may do a bit of tweaking it looks a bit too long compared to the other bags of sweets

not as straight forward as some of the others i’ve done because of the stripes in the background but its going okay
Jelly Babies remind me of being younger and passing a bag of them round the car on long journeys and we always had them
they also remind me of a girl in high school who made a jelly baby and banana crumble in our food tech class i have no idea why that’s stuck in my head?

I’m working from an empty packet of jelly babies that my brothers saved for me not impressed there were non in it!
I’m really happy with this one I’m into stitching with my cottons lately rather than doing the whole sculpture reverse appliqued, i don’t think my favorite technique will ever be replaced though I’m too obsessed
