Little view of what I’m up to today.

I love the back of this it’s just so ummppff, if I had the power to allow you all to have a good feel and a zoomed in look you would understand! :]

P.s England folk, any ideas where I can physically buy dried lavender?

Something I’ve been working on.

I drilled lots of tiny holes into the surface of the wood and then jammed wool felt and other fibers into the holes with a needle, VERY lengthy process but I really like how it looks :]

I’ll be adding the houses to my shop over the next few days so look out for them!

The Set of 5 together :]
I’m going to attempt a scene next week with street lamps, trees and other things!
I also have plans to get all christmasy with making things.
I still think it’s way to early to be getting festive but I was in Tesco yesterday and a man had bought 6 boxes of mince pies like they were going out of season or something are any of you in the Christmas spirit, or are you feeling all bah humbug until December?

Made another little house to add to my growing town.

I feel like I’m getting out of my rut with making now, lots of new things going on and it’s making me feel better about my work.

hows everyone else doing?

Another little house that I’ve made today.

I’m enjoying my week away from my other work it seems to be freeing up my mind and I’ve got all sorts of ideas flowing through my brain!

Thanks to all your comments on my last post it was lovely to feel like I’m not alone in my creative block :]

I’m thinking about making a few of these houses to sell, if you were to buy one would you rather have it free standing for you to put where you like or would you like it attached to a base?

Something a little bit different.

I’ve hit a complete brick wall lately when it comes to making my work I’m feeling very uninspired and lost so I’m giving Supermarket Stitch a rest while I figure out where I want to go.

So I made this today as a little change of pace and I’m really happy, I may make it a neighbor or a little apple tree, I shall see where the afternoon takes me :]

anybody else got autumn artwork blues?

Just finished this Wham bar for a lovely family I met a few weekends ago, they each chose a soft sculpture to start a collection in their home.

It makes me so happy to know that my work is in homes all around the world :]
