i have no idea what I’m meant to do but here it is follow me if you fancy it

I’ve forced myself to have a few days off over easter after finding myself abit lost I’d started 6 sculptures over the last few weeks and none of them seemed to be going right and i was getting all muddled in my mind.

It was like the lost feeling i had for a while after uni. I couldn’t create anything without feeling it wasn’t right and then after months of feeling like I’d been dropped in a dark cave i suddenly woke up one morning and it was like the me i knew was back and i had all these things in my mind i needed to explore.

So i decided to have some time away. I work in a room in my neighbours house so i left all my work as it was locked the door and said i would return when i was ready and i think having my sewing machine and all my work away from me has de- cluttered my brain and let me really chill out and open my mind.

For the last few days I’ve been having a feeling inside bubbling away like a itch that i couldn’t reach the feeling that i was in the wrong place and that i didn’t feel right. So i made the excuse of needing to find my camera to go over to next door and as soon i opened the door my work was welcoming me back just a quick look over a bottle i realised what i needed to change and tweak.

On my return I was handed a wadge of doodles and lists that my mums collected from around the house that i hadn’t even realised i was doing so i guess even though i felt abit lost on the outside i was still alive and kicking on the inside bursting out through the end of a pen on every surface i could get my hands on.

So tomorrow is a fresh burst of energy. I have things to finish and things to being and as ever I’m open for suggestions!
